Deb's World Bakery & Larder
Cakes bring happiness and the taste of freshly baked bread is one of life’s simple pleasures. Have a look in Deb’s World bakery and let yourself be tempted by our wonderful selection of cakes and breads all handmade in Debs kitchen. If your favourite isn’t there, just give us a call and we will make it if we can.
Our bread contains no preservatives or artificial ingredients and is made in small batches to order. They have a full body and natural taste which our customers love.
In the Deb’s World larder you will find a cornucopia of goodies ranging from pickles and chutneys to sweet sauces, jams and other seasonal offerings. All handmade from seasonal produce in small batches helping to preserve both taste and quality. Check back often as new goodies are added all the time.
To place an order please call us on 01622 727543. You will need to be able to come and collect your order as we do not deliver. We are based in Maidstone, Kent.
All cakes and bread are handmade to order with the best ingredients including free range eggs and unsalted butter.

I am a woman who loves cake...and Debs makes the best cakes around. From her fat rascals to her moist, light coffee and walnut cake each mouthful is a treat and nothing else compares! For the past six months Debbie has been kindly donating cakes for our monthly charity fundraising. It's a lovely treat having her baked goods in the office. We have tried many of her cake such as the Rosemary cake, Fat Rascals and Lemon buns.
They never last long.... always eaten before afternoon tea!

Last month I was having the girls round and to save myself the worry I asked Deb if she could personalize a Choccy Wocky cake for me.It was fantastic. Not only was the decoration perfect for the party it was wonderfully chocolately, moist and delicious. The cake was huge hit and I know where to come for future baking treats.

Fruity delicious JAM.
Our range includes Rhubarb and Vanilla, Summer Strawberry, Ravishing Raspberry, Favourite Blackcurant, Gooseberry scented with Elderflower.
Don't just spread it on your toast, stir it into your yoghurt, use to fill Victoria sponge cakes, make jam tarts or drizzle on ice cream for a fabulous fruity sauce.
Pickles and Chutneys.
Spiced and ready to add that extra zing to your cold meat, tasty cheese and pork pies.
Spiced Apple Chutney is a firm favourite
Piccalilli has been called the real thing,
Gooseberry or Damson are more unusual varieties.
Deb's World Chutney takes the best of what is on offer in the season and adds spices to make a flavour every one loves but is different every time it's made.
Sauces, sometimes we have
Honey Fudge Sauce
Drizzle thickly over ice cream, make a glorious old fashioned ice cream sundae with nuts, ice cream and honey fudge sauce. Spread on hot toast or crumpets, or add to fruit and thick cream to fill pancakes, really good with bananas or apples!
Or do as a lot of people do and eat it straight from the jar!
Totally Chilli Jam to add punch to your chicken, burgers, sausages and much more. Livens up every meal. Once you try it you will want more.
Christmas time
Extras for the season include;
Christmas Puddings and Christmas Cakes
Packed with fruit and spices to help you celebrate a traditional Christmas
Christmas Day Chutney, essential for turkey sandwiches. With dates, oranges and spice it's Christmas in a jar.
Boxing Day Chutney. Cranberry fruit, tangy and sharp gently cooked to make refreshing chutney.
Deb's World Mincemeat, full of fruit and spice and all things nice
Rum soaked raisin fudge, delicious and very moreish, and ideal as a gift for someone special.
